10km + a bit; beautiful river-side setting; uses first stage of Coast to Coast route; finishes at Cawdor Castle; £16 per person
If you don’t fancy the full Coast to Coast, or simply want to experience the spirit of the event with a good old stretch of the legs on Saturday 17th September, we have a great 10km (and a bit) run taking place that follows the first stretch of the Coast to Coast journey from Nairn Links to Cawdor Castle, tracing the course of the River Nairn. It features on and off road sections and is predominantly classed as a trail run.
Is this for me?
If you want to go for a run in beautiful surroundings with beach, river, forest and countryside vistas, this is for you. The Coast to Cawdor is a delightful Saturday morning running option, open to all runners and is just over 10km long. It is a one-way course and you can either arrange a pick-up with your supporters at the finish at Cawdor, or book our transfer bus back to Nairn.
You need to be at least 16 years old to take part in the run. Anyone between 16 and 18 years old must have their parental/legal guardian consent signed.

Other useful info
There is a transfer service available for the return journey from Cawdor to Nairn which can be booked at time of entry into the run. This is priced at £6 per person. Minimum age is 14 years (14 – 17 years will require parental consent and/ or consent of Guardian/ Loco in Parentis.
